"Mirages" features seven live-improvised songs compiled and mixed in 2023, using recordings as far back as 2017. Like every In The Branches album, it's meant to be an escape for deep contemplation, imagination, and catharsis. Each song tells a unique story using guitars, vocals, field recordings, a looper, and an array of looping and echoing effects.

The brighter moments of "Mirages" contrast with the darker ones. Turn out the lights and prepare for a unique experience with every listen.

While the album is often as minimal as In The Branches ever gets, it's also deceptively layered with subtle details and crescendos that demand repeated listens.
